Nickel & Bean in Lexington, Ohio

Shrock Premier teamed up with the sibling owners of this circa 1843 downtown building to create a town hub for coffee, community, and great conversation.

The family-owned business desired that the overall design for the coffee shop would reflect a “home-away-from-home” atmosphere. Also, a convenient drive-thru service window was an important convenience feature added during construction.
This cozy gathering place offers distinct areas including a public space, a communal area, and a private library space for working quietly.
Memorable features of the stylish business include a nickel tiled wall, exposed structural beams overhead, exposed original brick walls and charming wood flooring covering portions of the coffee shop where the foundation was still solid.
