Kenyon College Athletic Field in Gambier, Ohio

Shrock Premier Construction and Excavation Division was proud to partner with Kenyon College on various projects, including this pristine athletic field named Benson Bowl.

• Constructing an athletic field encompasses multiple moving parts: site evaluation, soil modification and drainage solutions as well as irrigation, lighting, fencing, perimeter curbing and seating.
• Benson Bowl, finished in synthetic turf, is now home to Kenyon’s field hockey teams and both the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams.
• The venue includes seating for 250, a 25-foot scoreboard, and measures 230 yards long by 75 yards wide.
