ROY KAUFFMAN

Roy Kauffman, General Manager
The General Manager requirements for Shrock Premier Custom Construction involve major multitasking, a combination of tough love, the thrill of the challenge, and the ability to always keep projects moving toward completion. Also this individual must have the skills necessary to keep the big picture in mind, while daily piecing together the details. …and as “quickly as possible” Roy would say!! Roy Kauffman has superbly filled the position of Shrock’s General Manager since 2018. Prior to working with Shrock, Roy worked with one of central Ohio’s leading Log home builders designing, pricing, and working one on one with clients. Since 2012, Roy has been working for Shrock Premier Custom Construction and has earned his way up to General Manager for a nationally awarded and recognized construction team. And even though balancing the numbers & keeping the wheels turning forward on multiple projects is his daily thrust, Roy still loves the opportunity to work one on one with clients.
Roy possesses a great ability to listen to and remember the desires and needs of his clients. He is an expert in timelines and knows what it takes to get the job done. He has a keen sense of budgeting that makes sense for both client and company. Roy is excellent in keeping communication lines open between Shrock Premier and the client, and he works to ensure the delivery of a superb product in a timely manner. When the pressure is the greatest, that is when Roy is at his best! His ultimate desire is complete customer satisfaction on all levels.

CLIFF CONNER

Cliff Conner, Excavation Team Project Manager/Estimator
The Shrock Excavation Division has grown significantly over the past few years, therefore, Cliff Conner’s job is no small task. Often, there aren’t enough hours in the day to accomplish everything that Cliff would like to complete. He is in constant demand overseeing multiple projects, while also working to attain new ones. He strives to make sure each project keeps moving smoothly forward in a timely manner, keeps on budget, and has everything necessary onsite to get the job done. All the while, he is seeking and bidding towards future Shrock projects. Other than being a professional multi-tasker, Cliff is licensed in commercial trucks, water service mains, rigging and signals. He also holds a water sewer contractor’s license.
Cliff loves the challenge of working for the Shrock Excavation Division. He takes pride in the work that his team produces , from the quality of the work completed to the values which propel the Shrock Family of Companies. Cliff also enjoys being thoroughly involved with each project and watching them first hand from start to finish. He was born and raised in Millersburg, Ohio where he still resides with his wife, Tiffany, and two daughters. Excavation is important in Cliff’s life, however, his greatest joy in life is watching his girls in all of their various sports and school activities.

BRIAN WILSON

Brian Wilson, Cabinet Division Manager
Brian joined the Shrock family of companies in March 2020. He is the General Manager of the cabinet division serving Shrock Premier and other builders and contractors with their custom cabinet needs. Brian has been in management positions in a wide variety of industries that includes cabinet making, metal fabrication, newspaper printing, and even commercial food production. Each of these industries have taught Brian the value of controlled processes, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Brian grew up in rural Lorain County, Ohio. He married his high school sweetheart in 1983. Together they have been blessed with 3 children and a growing number of grandchildren.

CHRIS SPRANG

Chris Sprang, Mechanical Technician
Some people are not meant to work within the confines of four walls each day, and Chris Sprang is exactly that type of individual. Chris prefers wide open spaces, a set of tools, a piece of equipment, and he goes to work! Chris’ title is Shrock Mechanic for all divisions of the Shrock Family of Companies. He daily oversees all of the equipment from dozers to trucks, making sure that everything is in solid and in safe working order. Chris also inventories and attains the parts and materials necessary for maintaining the Shrock fleet.
Chris graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio with an associates in agricultural mechanics and his expertise lies in electrical and engine diagnostics. He is a proven problem solver with the skill set to get the job done. He is from Big Prairie, Ohio and when not tinkering on a piece of equipment, Chris enjoys four wheeling and hunting. His future goal is to expand his farm.

MATT LOWE

Matt Lowe, Project Supervisor
When Matt became a part of the Shrock team in 2019, he brought with him valuable knowledge and a wide variety of previous construction experience. Matt has worked in residential, commercial and industrial excavating, commercial inspection work, and as a project engineer. He will be the first to admit that as project supervisor for Shrock Premier, every day brings new challenges! Matt loves the flexibility and diversity of his job and strives daily to keep the project running smoothly and efficiently. Paperwork is important, but Matt really enjoys being on the job site helping the guys and making sure that everyone has exactly everything they need to get the project done in a timely manner. Matt is from Millersburg, Ohio and when not behind the wheel of a Shrock truck, you can find him riding his Polaris RZR somewhere in the rugged off-road trails of the area!

LEONARD YODER

Leonard Yoder, Project Supervisor
It didn’t take long for Leonard to earn his title as Project Supervisor for Shrock Premier. He became a part of the Shrock team in 2019, bringing with him the experience and talent to succeed in the ever-changing construction industry. Leonard appreciates working for a company with such high standards and one in which every individual is valued, recognized and part of a team.
As project supervisor, Leonard really enjoys the challenge of scheduling materials, subcontractors, and overseeing quality control while keeping the project moving forward in a timely manner. He especially loves the opportunity to “roll up his sleeves” and get involved in whatever needs to be done! Each and every day is a new challenge to move the project forward to completion with quality results. The reward comes in seeing everything come together beautifully.
Working long and hard hours was always a part of Leonard’s versatile background. He grew up on a dairy farm in Michigan’s upper peninsula. For seven years, he worked in the logging industry and then moved into the construction business. His resume also includes over three years in a small engine shop.
Leonard resides in Fredericktown Ohio.
The joy of Leonard’s life is his family: his amazing wife Hannah and their five children. Together they enjoy spending time hunting, fishing, and camping.
