Tappan Lake Campground in Deersville, Ohio

Shrock Excavating & Demolition has had the honor of completing numerous improvement projects for MWCD at Charles Mill Lake, Pleasant Hill Lake, and Tappan Lake Campground.

• The 10 year, multi-million-dollar master plan developed by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District and Woolpert Inc. of Dayton aims at facility and site improvement and expansion while protecting natural resources enjoyed by visitors.
• The Tappan Lake project focused on constructing a new accessible bath house for campers, full-depth pavement throughout the campground area, planting caliper trees for shade and beauty, and redesigning existing campsites.
• Shrock adhered to a precise list of construction guidelines which encompassed every phase of the project, even down to details such as exact materials to use, their dimensions, and specific paint colors.
